Biography

For over 20 years Joanna L. Christensen has practiced in Hampshire, Hampden and Worcester counties. Her practice concentrates on elder law, medicaid planning, real estate, wills and estate planning. Through her memberships in associations and organizations such as American Bar Association, Hampshire County Bar Association, Massachusetts Conveyancers Association, Massachusetts Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and her association with the First American Title Insurance Company as a title agent, she continously builds on her experience and stays on top of pertinent issues.

In addition to running her practice, Attorney Christensen is an active member of the communities she serves. She has worked for our children in various capacities with the Storrs Youth Center, Boy Scouts of America, Educational Advisory Committee and the Ware Elementary Parent Teachers Organization. She has served as a Moderator of the United Church in Ware for over 10 years and Chaired the Board of Trustees. Today she can be heard in the choir.
